Fall Appropriate Purses
Updated: Oct 2, 2019
Around this time of year is when I go through my Summer purse and switch it out with one of my fall/ winter appropriate purses.
Changing out purses from season to season also allows for tiding up all that I carry with me from day to day and helps keep me organized.
The first of my five choices this season is this Whitney Large Leather Convertible Shoulder Bag by Michael Kors. It has a beautiful thick silver chain that can be converted into a shorter strap and plenty of space for the essentials!
This purse retails for $378.00 CAD on the Michael Kors website and it is the perfect size for any outing. In this picture I chose to dress it down with my Adidas shoes and a casual outfit, but you can also dress it up with any dress or wear it to the office.
My next option is this beautiful Coach purse that is a shiny burgundy/ purple colour. It has gold hardware and also comes with a strap so that you can wear over the your shoulder. This is one of my favorites due to the fact that it retains it's shape well and it fits a lot thanks to all the dividers and pockets it has inside.
The third option is this brown large Michael Kors tote bag that I bought years and years ago from Markville Mall.
This is the purse that will fit my work laptop in it as well as all my other everyday essentials.
I mostly use this purse during the week for work as it is both gorgeous as well as versatile in the space that it offers.
My fourth option is this Dooney and Bourke Peble Grain Zip Zip Satchel. I like this one because it incorporates both black as well as brown which makes it easier to match boots with it.
I must add that out of all my purses, Dooney and Bourke is my favorite designer as they have so many designs, textures and colours on their website and all the purses are constructed so well. Also, the inside of all their purses is red which is a fun treat when you open up your purse!
Last but certainly not least, is my handy dandy computer bag. This bag comes in this beautiful army green colour, which is my favorite fall time colour. It is a Coach purse as well and was purchased during a major sale at Cookstown Mall.
I tend to use this bag when I travel with my laptop for safe keeping. It has two big compartments inside and plenty of pockets for office supplies. The strap is thick and durable and very comfortable even when I stuff the bag full.
